The artist has been selected to take part in this group exhibition which is curated by the Hamilton Gallery, Sligo. It is themed on a poem by the late Leland Bardwell, 'St. Brigid's Day 1989'.

Indian Residency Award
Angela Hackett has won an Arts Council of Northern Ireland International Residency Award. She will undertake this residency in Rajasthan at the beginning of 2018.

Angela has won the Royal Ulster Academy Perpetual Gold Medal award 2019.
The independent Adjudicator was Mr. Sean Rainbird, Director of the National Gallery of Ireland.
Angela is pictured here alongside Mr. James Conlon from NIAVAC, the sponsor of the award.
Angela's painting, 'Lemons on a Moorish Plate' has inspired a beautiful poem by Ciaran Carson.
It features in his new collection of poetry entitled 'Still Life' which is due to be published this month of October 2019 by The Gallery Press.
In the run up to its launch, 'Angela Hackett, Lemons on a Moorish Plate, 2013' was selected for inclusion in this week's issue of The New Yorker magazine Oct 7, 2019.
